federally or centrally sponsored Parent PLUS loan is a low interest
student loan for parents of undergraduate or dependent students. With
the help of Parent PLUS loan, families can fund the total cost of a
child's education (excluding other financial aid). Parents of
independent students are not eligible for this benefit. A U.S. citizen
or national, a U.S. permanent resident or eligible non-citizen may
